Collection and protection of your personal data
Protection of your personal data is important to us. You can use our website mostly without providing personal data. If we do ask you to give personal data (for example name, address, email addresses, or telephone numbers) we make it optional whenever possible. We will not forward your data to third parties without your express permission. See below for details of how personal data may be gathered on our website.
Please note that data transmission via the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can be insecure. It is not possible to protect data completely from access by third parties.
Every time you access our home page your Internet browser transmits usage data which is then stored in so-called server log files. The records stored contain the following data: date and time of access, name of page accessed, IP address, referrer URL, volume of data transmitted, and product and version information for the browser used. The log files are used solely for statistical analysis, troubleshooting, and data security purposes.
If you fill in a contact form to send us an inquiry or request service or support we will store the information you give on the form, including your contact details, for the purposes of handling your inquiry or request and in case you have follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent. There may, however, be occasions when we forward your inquiry, and therefore also your contact details, to other cab subsidiaries or cab sales partners so that we can answer your inquiry satisfactorily. If this happens you will receive the information directly from the sales partners or subsidiaries.
Comments and posts
If you leave comments on the blog or make other posts your IP address will be recorded. This is for the provider's security, in case someone puts illegal content in comments and posts (abusive language, banned political propaganda, etc). If this happens the provider itself can be prosecuted for the comment or post, which is why it has an interest in knowing the identity of the author.

Right to object within the meaning of section 15 (3) of the German Teleservices Act
If you do not agree to data from your visit being stored and analyzed you can object at any point by clicking the mouse. If you do this, an opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, and this will prevent Matomo from collecting any session data. Note: If you delete your cookies this will also delete the opt-out cookie, so you may have to reactivate it.
If your browser supports Do Not Track and you have enabled it your visit will automatically be ignored.
Use of search engine Site Search 360
This Internet service uses the Site Search 360 of SEMKNOX GmbH as its central search engine. The integrated search engine enables full text searches for content on the website. You can access the search function via an integrated search field. Data is only passed on when a query is sent using the search field. Only search terms but no private data, IP address too, will be transfered to SEMKNOX GmbH.

Use of YouTube videos
Our home page uses plugins from www.youtube.com which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").
If you access a page with one of these plugins on our Internet site and start a video this creates a connection to the YouTube servers which communicate with your browser to display the plugin on the Internet page. This tells the YouTube server which of our Internet pages you have visited. If you are logged into YouTube as a member at the time, YouTube matches this information with your personal user accounts on these platforms. If you use these plugins, e.g. clicking / start button for a video or sending a comment, this information is recorded for e.g. your YouTube user account, and you can only prevent this by logging out before using the plugin. Further information about how the platform and/or plugins collect and use data is available in the YouTube data protection notice at: http://www.google.com/intl/policies/privacy/.
We use embedded YouTube videos in enhanced data protection mode. That means: YouTube does not store cookies for a user who accesses a website with an embedded YouTube video but does not click on the video to start playback.
Links to other websites
Our online service contains links to other websites. It also has integrated social bookmarks. Social bookmarks are Internet bookmarks, which users of online services can use to collect links and news items. These are integrated into our website as simple links to the services. Clicking on the integrated icon takes you to the page of the relevant provider i.e. only then is user information passed on to the provider. For information about how your personal data is handled when you use these websites please read the providers' data protection policies. No cookies are used in connection with the display of cab's Twitter tweets.
On our web page we offer the option of subscribing to our newsletter. We produce this newsletter at regular intervals to distribute information about product labeling. To receive our newsletter you need a current email address, a first name, and a surname. We will check the email address you enter to make sure you are the owner of the email address and that the owner is authorized to receive the newsletter. When you register for our newsletter we will store your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This is a safeguard for us in case a third party is misusing your email address and is subscribing to our newsletter without your knowledge. We do not record any other data. The data collected is used solely for the subscription to our newsletter. It is not passed on to third parties. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can find out details about how to do this from the confirmation email, each individual newsletter, or the home page.
Online job applications
We record and process your application data electronically to enable us to handle the application process. If your application results in an employment contract the data you have provided may be stored, complying with the relevant legal requirements, in your personnel file to be used in normal organizational and administrative processes. If your application is rejected the data you have provided will be deleted automatically two months after you have been informed of the rejection. This does not apply if there is a legal requirement to store the data for longer (for example the obligation to produce evidence under the German General Equal Treatment Act) or if you have given your express consent for your data to be stored for longer on our database of potential employees.
Right to object
You can withdraw your consent for us to store and process your data at any time. If you do this we will immediately delete the data from you that we have stored.
Right to information
We will be happy to tell you whether we have stored any of your personal data and if so what it is. Subject to the provisions of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) you can also exercise your right to demand that we correct, block, or delete this data if you wish.
