A+ and A1000

Print & Apply in real-time

The Applicator A1000 represents in combination with the thermal printers A2+, A4+ and A6+ the inexpensive solution both for semi-automatic labeling and for the integration into automated production lines. The labels are transferred with a pad, which moves between the two positions, starting position and labelling position, by a compressed-air driven pneumatic cylinder.

We show you the benefits

Funktions and advantages

In conjunction with the A2+, A4+ and A6+ printers, the A1000 applicator represents a cost-effective solution for both semiautomatic operation and for integration into automated production lines.

1. Long service life

The ball-bearing guide bars are low-wear.

2. Variable product heights

The lift cylinder allows labelling in different heights. It is available in different stroke-lengths.

3. Easy adjustment

The tamp pad can be adjusted in alignment with the peel-off plate using four screws. Processing control is optimized during testing using the operation panel.

4. Pre-dispense button

Tests the labeling function. Pushing the button the first time causes the label to be printed and held by the pad. Pushing the button again starts the application.

5. Compressed air regulation unit

The microfilters prevent contamination and the compressed air regulator ensures the labelling quality.

6. High process reliability

The supporting air jet stream, induction air and lifting speed can be adjusted. The pressure can be reduced to less than 1 kg for highly sensitive products and packaging. To avoid contamination of the vacuum holes, they are cleaned with air pressure after each application.

7. Real-time application

Labels with a height of 25-200 mm and a width of 25-176 mm can be dispensed.

Digital I/O-Interface

The master (e.g. PLC) starts or stops the labelling process. The status and error messages are issued at the same time.

Stand-alone operation

The layout of the labels is created either with the label software or directly on the PC. Label formats, fonts and graphic data, serial data and data base contents are saved on the CF memory card or on the internal IFFS printer memory. Only the variable data is sent to the printer via keyboard or host computer before being printed out.

1. Tamp pad

Tamp pad

The product remains fixed in place during application. The vacuum holes of the universal tamp pads are covered by a foil that is pierced according to the label size. The tamp pads are adjusted to the external dimensions of the labels.

2. Blow pad

Blow padThe label can be blown on for pressure-sensitive products. The labels can be applied to either a fixed or moving product. The product to be printed is positioned approximately 10 mm below the blow pad.

3. Roll-on pad

Roll-on padThe label is moved under the roll during application. The pad moves onto the product and the label is rolled on during transportation.

4. Base frame

Printer on lower frameThe base frame is customized according to the width and height requirements. The labeling system is fixed in place with two pins.

5. Roll-on application

RundumetikettierungFor labeling round products with diameters of up to 40 mm. The product is pushed onto the rolls. The labeling process is started by pressing the hand or foot switch.

6. Dispensing module for roll-on application

Spendemdodul zum AnrollenFor labeling packaging on the conveyor belt. The conveyor speed must be synchronized with the print speed. It is suitable for labels with a width up to 116 mm and a length up to 200 mm. Further technical details can be provided on request.

7. The stand for flexible printer mounting

The stand for flexible printer mountingThe stand enables the printer to be integrated quickly and flexibly into any manufacturing line. The height and width of the labeling position can be adjusted with ease. Four guide rollers on the chassis ensure mobility. The stand is adjusted at the place of installation using adjustable feet.
